Intellectual Property & Software Protection Notice

For The Floor Technologies (“FTFMT,” “For The Floor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) owns and operates the FTFMT brand and develops proprietary music technology software, including Arpify.

1. Intellectual Property Ownership

Unless otherwise expressly stated, all intellectual property associated with FTFMT and its products is owned by or licensed to For The Floor Technologies.

This includes, without limitation:

Arpify and other FTFMT software;
source code and compiled software;
VST3, AU, standalone, and other software builds where applicable;
digital installers, packages, and downloadable files;
digital signal processing systems and software implementations;
graphical user interfaces and interface elements;
product graphics, artwork, icons, animations, and visual assets;
product names, logos, branding, and trade dress;
website content, written documentation, manuals, marketing materials, videos, and other original content.

These materials may be protected by applicable copyright, trademark, trade secret, contractual, and other intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited rights expressly granted to a legitimate user of an FTFMT product, no rights in FTFMT intellectual property are transferred to any purchaser, website visitor, distributor, or other party.

2. Software License

Purchasing or legitimately obtaining Arpify does not transfer ownership of Arpify or its underlying intellectual property.

A legitimate purchaser receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software for lawful personal and/or professional music-production purposes, subject to any applicable license terms provided with the product.

Unless expressly authorized by FTFMT in writing, users may not:

redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, share, or commercially distribute copies of Arpify;
upload Arpify or its installation files to file-sharing websites, torrents, forums, cloud repositories, software archives, or similar distribution services;
provide purchased download files to individuals who have not independently obtained a legitimate license;
bypass, disable, defeat, or interfere with licensing, authentication, anti-piracy, or other technical protection mechanisms;
reproduce the software for unauthorized distribution;
falsely represent an FTFMT product as their own;
modify and redistribute FTFMT software as a separate or derivative commercial product; or
reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except to the extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

3. Piracy and Unauthorized Distribution

FTFMT does not authorize the piracy, cracking, unauthorized copying, redistribution, resale, or public distribution of Arpify or any other FTFMT product.

Any copy of Arpify distributed outside of an authorized FTFMT distribution channel may constitute an unauthorized copy.

FTFMT reserves the right to investigate suspected piracy or unauthorized distribution and, where appropriate, take action to protect its intellectual property and contractual rights.

Such action may include, where legally available:

terminating or revoking applicable software licenses;
issuing infringement or takedown notices;
requesting removal of unauthorized downloads, listings, repositories, advertisements, or other infringing materials;
contacting platforms, hosting providers, payment processors, marketplaces, or other intermediaries regarding unauthorized distribution;
seeking injunctive relief;
seeking recovery of damages, lost revenue, legal costs, or other remedies available under applicable law; and
initiating legal proceedings where appropriate.

FTFMT reserves all rights and remedies available under applicable law.

4. Unauthorized Resale

Unless FTFMT has provided express written authorization, purchasing a license to Arpify does not grant the purchaser the right to resell licenses, operate as a distributor, bundle Arpify with another commercial product, or sell access to copies of the software.

Businesses, studios, schools, organizations, or other entities requiring multiple installations or users should obtain an appropriate commercial or multi-seat license directly from FTFMT where such licensing is offered.

5. Commercial Music Created With Arpify

Legitimate users may use Arpify in the creation of their own original music and audio productions, including commercial releases.

FTFMT does not claim ownership of musical works merely because Arpify was used in their creation.

The restrictions in this notice concern the software and FTFMT intellectual property itself, not the lawful music or audio created using the software.

6. FTFMT Branding

The names For The Floor Technologies, For The Floor, FTFMT, Arpify, associated logos, product graphics, and other distinctive branding may constitute trademarks, service marks, trade dress, or other proprietary branding belonging to FTFMT.

Nothing on this website grants permission to use FTFMT branding in a manner that suggests sponsorship, affiliation, endorsement, ownership, or authorization where none exists.

7. Website Content

Unless otherwise indicated, the original content appearing on FTFMT websites and official FTFMT accounts—including graphics, product renders, photographs, videos, advertisements, written copy, documentation, and design elements—may not be reproduced or commercially exploited without permission.

Reasonable linking to publicly accessible FTFMT webpages and good-faith editorial discussion, reviews, commentary, and other uses permitted by applicable law are not prohibited by this notice.

8. Third-Party Rights

FTFMT respects the intellectual property rights of others.

Third-party names, trademarks, software platforms, plugin formats, digital audio workstations, or other products referenced by FTFMT remain the property of their respective owners. References to third-party products do not necessarily imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.

9. No Waiver of Rights

Failure by FTFMT to immediately enforce any provision of this notice or pursue a particular instance of infringement does not constitute a waiver of FTFMT's rights.

FTFMT expressly reserves all intellectual-property, contractual, and other rights not specifically granted to users.

10. Reporting Piracy or Unauthorized Distribution

If you become aware of an unauthorized copy, cracked version, resale listing, download, or distribution of an FTFMT product, please contact FTFMT through the contact information provided on our official website.

When possible, include the URL or location of the suspected unauthorized material.

Arpify and associated FTFMT software, branding, design assets, and original materials are proprietary to For The Floor Technologies except where otherwise indicated.
